Bloody Night [crazy] Con 3

Hey, you!

May's here already and it looks like it scared away the cold and brought along some nice warm weather. Spring is officially here and, since I've no allergy issues, I'm absolutely delighted!

But, sunshine and flower sex aside, what I was looking forward so bad was a certain convention which was to be held in Barcelona on May the 4th and the 5th. As you may have guessed from the title above, I'm talking about the third edition of the Bloody Night Con, a convention about CW's hit 'The Vampire Diaries'.

I attended last year for the first time and had a blast. I didn't really know what to expect, didn't know how it all worked, but even if quite chaotic, I had an amazing time and brought with me beautiful memories. Last year's guests were Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Matt Davis, Michael Trevino and Joseph Morgan. A few weeks before the big day, though, Joseph Morgan had to cancel, which was quite disappointing. But, to our surprise and delight, Nina Dobrev popped out of Ian's luggage and covered for him. I was lucky enough to manage to ask a couple of questions to each guest and also took a picture with Ian, Nina and Michael.

This year we had the pleasure to receive five exceptional guests: Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Candice Accola, Steven R. McQueen and Nathaniel Buzolic.
During the convention, the attendees had the chance to directly ask the guests about the show in the Q&A Panels (which were held almost non-stop all day), take pictures with them, have their autographs or even enjoy joining the guests individually in a meeting room for a short while. Of course, the availability of all these luxuries depended on the type of pass you had purchased.

I was able to get four pictures this year. I took one with Ian, another one with Candice, another one with Nathaniel and a group picture! Unfortunately, the group one was taken on Sunday and Paul was only attending Saturday, so he's missing in that one. Such a pity...

Here I am with the awesome @natebuzz!

Bloody Night Con will be held again in Barcelona next year. Don't know yet if I'll be attending, but I'm already looking forward to it!

I'll try to review the Q&A's Panels in future posts.

Thank you for reading!

xoxo Dahlia Lynch
